A Sunset Shared

Last summer my husband and I hiked on Maine’s hut to hut system. We spent the first night at Poplar hut and then hiked 11 miles to Flagstaff hut the next day. Tired and hungry, we were met with a delicious supper and some wonderful guests. The icing on the cake was the sunset. It was quite a bonding, beautiful experience to share this sunset with the other guests at Flagstaff that July evening.
